Defend them now!

Today's kids would slap pictures of themselves on Twitter and Instagram doing all that illegal stuff. And then wonder why they got in trouble
Today it would be a big scandal with casinos not checking underage gamblers. Back then it was just life.
I think a lot of kids misbehave these days because we make such a big deal over the small stuff. Hell I think if a kid is caught in my state drinking (non-moving offense) they get their drivers license taken away until they are 21. If they get caught smoking pot, they get their financial aid for college taken away forever. They can't even get loans.
A few thoughts on this.

While the police may not have enough people to cover this, they will squash it pretty quickly if they get enough complaints on it. I would think the hotels would want to get involved also.

Glass is not supposed to be carried on the strip any more. Are these aluminum or plastic bottles they are selling?

Similar to the water vendors, do they open the bottle before they give it to you? I was able to spot water bottles in the cooler with broken seals on the screw off lids. This meant they were reused bottles.

Thank you. They do sell "recycled" water. Finally somebody understands that this is not trivial and a joke. This activity by the "vendors" is minor compared to what the other situations that metro has to deal with but if they get enough complaints they will have to eventually take some action.
I'd rather buy a beer from a homeless entrepeneur than give someone a few bucks for nothing so they can buy themselves a beer.

Never got carded. I wrote about my trip in my high school newspaper and I still have that article. Needless to say, my parents weren't too thrilled with my early journalism career when they got wind of it.

My second trip to Vegas I was 17. I drove my 69 Mercury Monterey with 5 of my high school friends. We stayed in one room at the Westward Ho. We all had fake ID's. We all drank, smoked and gambled for two days straight. We never got carded. My parents thought we were going to Disneyland.

You're right Sandy. This is a travesty. They should be charging less for the used water. Let this be a lesson to everyone. Either buy your water from a reputable homeless person or stick to brewskies.

alanleroy is incorrigible.
All joking aside, "waters sellers" selling bottled water is illegal, .......... but selling beer is REALLY illegal.
Liquor stores would be shut down if they sold without a license to sell, or sold to underage customers.
That's how serious this really is.
