So your only option is to create a cartoon, a cartoon alternative, then run against the cartoon.
Kind of like Obama running against George W. Bush...Twice.

hoops, I would LOVE to respond to that, but it will require citing our quoting news sources that YOU consider to be reliable.

Please name one.

So gosh, Both Sides Do It! Well let's test that theory.

Kerry 2004: Swiftboat.
Bush 2004: Iraq War disaster, lied about WMD's, bad economic policies.
So which of the above was correct and which was the cartoon?

Obama 2008: Death Panels, Birth Certificate, Lightweight.
McCain 2008: Stay in Iraq for 100 years, Continue Bush's economic policies, chose Sarah Palin.
So which of the above was correct and which was the cartoon?

Obama 2012: Benghazi!!!, Unemployment will skyrocket, Obamacare will bankrupt the country.
Romney 2012: 47%, Let GM go bankrupt, Outsourced jobs.
So which of the above was correct and which was the cartoon?

2016: Same shit. One party is reality based, the other isn't.

ON UNITED STATES FLAGS ONSTAGE AT THE DEMOCRAT NATIONAL COMMITTEE CONVENTION DAY ONE

A video:
C-SPAN DNC-Day 1

A defense of the DNC:
SNOPES - "Capture the Flag"

Once the pledge of allegiance is complete and the honor guard departs, DonDiego suggests the interested reader, if any, compare the C-SPAN video with the photographs evidence presented by SNOPES with regard to US Flags onstage.
n.b. One can scan through the video and stop to examine just those frames which include the full stage.

DonDiego suggests one compare especially the photographic evidence supplied by 27 July TWEETs from a Steve Kopack shown on SNOPES alleging "There were 8 [flags] on the stage all night" and "the flag from Monday" with what one observes in the C-SPAN video.

Oh, and one can observe the C-SPAN DNC Day-2 coverage for comparison:

You just proved that Snopes is politically biased and cannot be relied upon for at least political facts. Great job.

Don Diego invites you to try and scan through TWO FIFTEEN HOUR VIDEOS to see if there were no flags on stage at day one of the Democratic Convention.

Here, to save lots of time I'll just re-post C-SPAN screenshots from day one. You're welcome.

Two fifteen hour videos? I see a 7.5 hour video for day one and a 6 hour 50 minute video for day 2. I see the flags on Day 2, but can't find them for Day 1. Can Forkie please give us the time on the video where he took his still pictures?

The first video DonDiego expects us to scan is FIFTEEN HOURS, THIRTY-NINE MINUTE, AND FORTY-NINE SECONDS, not 7.5 hours. Admit that lie and we'll move on to the next one.

[boldface added - DD]

No one disputes there was a presentation of the colors with an honor guard, and a pledge of allegiance, and the National Anthem sung, . . . all with a flag.
Then the flag is gone, . . .

My video for the link on Day 1 shows 7 hours 32 minutes and 22 seconds. I took the liberty of rounding it to 7.5 hours and NOT 15 HOURS. It doesn't make any sense that the Day 1 convention would be over 15 hours.
