Gang members, when there is probable cause, are typically arrested, tried, and convicted. So who exactly is anyone supposed to be protesting against - except maybe the NRA for legalizing straw purchases of weapons?

Although the last eight years have been the safest ever for US police, one of the most dangerous things for good cops are bad cops, because they alienate the community, build anger, and are themselves examples of lawlessness. But frequently the bad cops don't even get fired. When they start getting imprisoned for profiling or brutality or murder, our streets will be a lot safer for everyone.

The picture has stamped "Getty Images" on it and Snopes is quickly being exposed as being politically biased. I don't know if that picture has been photoshopped or not. It would certainly be easy to airbrush the stain out, if it is real.

Not a single cop in these SBLM incidents has been convicted. In fact Baltimore just dropped the charges against the Baltimore police. So the riots have been for nothing

But I'm not outraged, faux or otherwise. It's called ridicule, and it serves it purpose. If it weren't for ridicule, DonDiego might still be talking about naked crucifixions in front of the Egyptian presidential palace, and outside of this forum the Benghazi thing might even still be taken seriously outside of extreme right-wing circles. And the "whitey tape." And the "murder" of Vince Foster. An on and on.

A few days ago a liberal acquaintance posted a very genuine looking old clipping on Facebook, supposedly from People Magazine, quoting Donald Trump saying that he might one day run for office as a Republican because they are so stupid. After about a minute on Snopes I determined it was fake and told her she should it down because "we don't do things lie that." Because that's how I roll.

Too bad you don't.
