Dennis Miller is in Vegas this weekend!

we saw him in Vegas in late 2001 or early 2002. He was mean-spirited and not funny. Several people walked out. I hear him now and again on Bill O'Reilly and he's still mean spirited and not very funny. His best days were on SNL

LOL. Part of the definition of a comic is mean-spiritedness. They make fun of people. I rarely enjoy comedy for that very reason. It's hypocritical to want to have it both ways and call it comedy when they make fun of other demographics and mean-spiritedness when they make fun of yours.

Songbird - would you go see Bill Maher? Just wonderin'
I saw in 2002 and he was great. Maybe 2002. It was after the shoe bomber, because Miller had a great joke about profiling and that guy. "Excuse me stewardess, unless he's the harmonica player for the J. Geils Band, I want him off the *&$%#! plane."

Just wondering if YOU thought Miller was funny when he called your hero GW Bush "the stupidest man alive", this was pre-9/11 of course, before Miller flipped to being a neo-con. Miller was semi-funny on SNL because he had good writers, and even before his swing to the hard right he wasnt funny "on his own", and his "Chachi" tag line was never funny. I would love to see a debate with Maher and Miiler, as Dennis would get his clock cleaned.
Sure - but I already knew W's IQ was higher than John Kerry's.

Did they ever release Obama's IQ?

I disagree, and JK was no "rocket scientist" either. The current guy would run circles around both.

Now back to the topic at hand...... Dennis Miller was never funny, reguardless of which side of the fence he was standing on.
Miller and Maher are actually good friends. Here is an interesting conversation they had last year..

Of course, it could have been the drink I had before the show that made me laugh. Some grape-flavered thing they called a "Showstopper."

That's not true at all.

Steve Martin
Bill Cosby
Bob Hope
Jerry Seinfeld
Larry Miller
Ellen Degeneres
Emo Phillips
Bob Newhart

What esteskefauver wrote is not even remotely true.
