Dennis Rodman Trip

Any thoughts?

It looks like a guy starving for attention. I hope he stays there. I can't believe he conned other players to go.
Just watch out for the hungry dogs that got Kim's uncle.....
I assumed going to DPRK was like going to Cuba and Americans were prohibited.

However, I'm not a proponent of isolating hostile regimes. I think revolution comes from within and the more isolated the population, the more likely they get resigned to their fate and give up hope and the longer the hostile regime reigns.
They have pretty much isoloated themselves with very little international travel allowed & they allow very few people in. I believe the internet is banned and there is very little tv service

Better let the home team win or he might die from natural causes like Ax to the Head.

My Dennis Rodman story.

He used to live in our area. We were at a restaurant at the same time he was dining one night. He was obviously drunk and making a very loud and obnoxious fool of himself. No one else there could enjoy themselves. Even those he was with seemed embarrassed to be there. Our water told us he was always like that when he came in, when asked why the management put up with it we were told that he "made it up" to them, including the wait staff.

On another night we were going into our favorite restaurant and I noticed Dennis Rodman in the bar area with several people and they were on the verge of getting "too" loud and obnoxious. We told the hostess that we would not be taking our table and would visit another time. There were several other parties walking out due to Rodman's presence there. I guess words were exchanged inside with someone because he followed us out of the restaurant yelling and cussing at us. I could not understand most of what he was yelling but I got the gist of it. Apparently I am a stuck up, yuppie bore. He assured my wife and I that he was not calling us racist but the black gentleman that was also walking out was.

In the car my wife commented that "He couldn't be that big of a deal. He is very ugly and he doesn't even have a Paparazzi following."

Not long after this he was removed from the house he was renting by the Sheriffs department and has hence left the area.
PYONGYANG, North Korea (AP) — Former NBA star Charles D. Smith says he feels remorse for coming to Pyongyang with Dennis Rodman for a game on the North Korean leader's birthday because the event has been dwarfed by politics and tainted by Rodman's own comments....
