Ruh-Row ! The combination of 12 year old Bourbon and Cocaine has reared it's ugly head again !
Earlier today, it was announced that Brian "Smokin Whiskey, Drinkin Cocaine" France has fined Denny Hamlin $25,000 for "disparaging" remarks after Sunday's 500k race at Phoenix. Seems if you have an opinion, this is not allowed in Brian's world. (but drug dealers and bourbon jobbers are welcomed)
Anyways, just an hour or so ago at LVMS, this is what Denny Hamlin had to say about the fine:
“This is the most upset and angry I’ve been in a really, really long time about anything. Anything that relates to NASCAR,” he said. “You have strong opinions about a lot of things ... and a lot of people hold their tongue, and some people don’t, like Brad (Keselowski). But the truth is what the truth is, and I don’t believe in this. Never going to believe in it. As far as I’m concerned, I’m not going to pay the fine. If they suspend me, they suspend me. I don’t care at this point.”
I applaud Denny's courage and conviction......and he has a new fan in me !!! Depending on the level of drugs and alcohol in Brian France's bloodstream at any given moment, here are a couple scenarios that may happen this weekend:
1. Denny Hamlin will be suspended for this weekend's 400 miler at LVMS. He will be fined a 2nd time and placed on double-secret probation.
2. Coach Gibbs will ride in on his provate jet with a suitcase full of money, plop it down on Brian's desk (be careful not to disturb the pre-cut lines of Columbian snow) and all will be forgiven.
3. Denny Hamlin will issue a (what may seem like) heartfelt apology, pay the initial $25,000 fine, and then pay a double-secret monetary tribute to the Brian France Bourbon and Cocaine stash fund. Almost all will be forgiven.
What does all this mean to the Nascar bettor this weekend in Las Vegas ? You might not want to bet on Denny ! IF he does get to race, good chance his car WILL FAIL inspection numerous times, his motor will mysteriously blow up (TRD engines have been doing that lately anyway), or he will set the record for most speeding penalties on pit road in a single race.
I have never seen a driver stand up to Brian like this before ! Well, Jeremy Mayfield tried it. And how did that work out for Jeremy ?
Just an FYI.
