Detroit Lions when will the ball drop?

As a Boston fan that had to go thru 86 years of the red sox not winning the world series, The bruins not winning the Stanley cup for 32 years, the Patriots not winning the first 40 years, I kind of feel bad for ya. If you tell me your a cubbies fan during the summer, I am going to stop posting because I figure you enjoy this pain!
If the Lions lose to the Bears on Thursday, they officially suck and will NOT make the playoffs.

What could go wrong?
Jphelan, We will lose. I predict it. After your win Cutler will look like the long term solution at QB again....lol.
Now I don't know what to think. It looked like the typicial Lions in the first quarter. It will be interesting to see how the season ends.

Looking at the remaining schedule for both the Lions and Packers; the last game of the season could well determine who wins their division. The Lions will be up against it playing in Green Bay where I don't believe they have won since 1991.
How the World turns, and it certainly did after the first quarter?

I was raised in the NW Chicago suburbs from the age of three through my college years, and I still follow the Bears closely. This was another painful Bears viewing, however I still have my hometown Colts game on Sunday to look forward to. I "suspect" that we'll hammer the Redskins.

Well, part of the good old Lions are still alive.

Dominic Raiola was suspended for one game today for intentionally stomping on the leg of a Chicago Bear. Who does he think he is? Ndamukong Suh?

Yeah, dirty, inexcusable. He is a dope. Hopefully we move on at Center.

As far as the Suh comparison, anybody watching him closely can see improved behavior and a true professional in preparation. He is gonna be even better next year (likely for another team). I bet a lot of his haters would welcome him once he signs on their team.
Ball dropped officially last night. I guess my comments on Suh were premature. It will be interesting to see who offers him big money with the stuff that surrounds him.
The dumbass got exactly what he deserved.Unfortunately, it will hurt the team this week. With an offense that does not perform to it's capability and now a key player missing ,the Lions will probably get blown out Sunday.
