"In the jungle, the mighty jungle the Lions weep tonight"
I am a Cowboy's season tix holder and my wife and I went ahead and picked up the playoff option on our seats and went to the game. I personally saw only 2 Lions fans at the game, and that includes the parking lot that was filled with tailgaters out on the perimeter of AT & T stadium. The one fan that was sitting about 4 rows down from me was wearing a Suh number 90 jersey. Every single time the Lions did something good he would stand up and flex his puny muscles like he was a member of the team. I saw him later after the Cowboys made the last score to go ahead just outside the men's room on the 400 level where our seats were located. I tried to console him about the play in which the flag for pass interference was called. He would have none of it. The irony of somebody wearing a Suh jersey whining about the call. He didn't whine like a "baby-back-bitch" when this nasty thug was reinstated to play in the game. I told him that he should go to the local "Henchman's Store" and find the "Thugs-R-Us" section of that said store and trade in his jersey for an electric blanket to cry on for the rest of the winter. When he was done with it donate it to Suh. Suh can make good use of it to thaw out his feet so he won't stomp on any franchise QB, or kick some unaware schlmiel in the crotch.
As for the Cowboy haters it is a type of schadenfreude that one cannot help enjoy. The haters will have another week of rancid bile festering in the back of their congested throats hoping the same for the Cowboys for their upcoming game with The Pack. Never minding that most of America was turned off about some of the cheap-shot artists employed by the same Lions players, coaches and fans that would ultimately whine about a pass interference call. The game was horribly officiated for both sides. Nobody was satisfied with this particular crew. You should have heard the loud boos that were cascading down from all reaches of the stadium for these bewildered refs. Come to find out, the NFL doesn't promote the best crews to officiate playoff games like the NBA does. They send ONLY those individual officials with the top grades for the season. So there is a feeling out process to new members of a crew just like it is in real life. I hope the NFL will review and change this policy and promote only the best crews to officiate playoff games in the future.
I totally understand Coach Caldwell not liking the non-interference call, but stated there was still time for them to make up for it. Maybe some of the Lions fans should take his queue.? I guess its okay to root for thug players if they are on the team you like? It was gonna suck for anyone to lose this game. That's what the playoffs are all about. From my view, either team could have won this game. They both had ample opportunities to win it. Or lose it. To see Suh weeping during his part of the press conference was ironic to me. Didn't see him openly weeping after trying to break Aaron Rodgers leg while putting his full weight on it. Kinda funny how he went out. The Lions can't at least use the excuse that they didn't lose with their best thug not suiting up.
And yep, the conspiracy theory is already ringing in my head. The Commissioner wanted the Cowboys to win because that thug Sue got reinstated to play. Where was Goodell for the past 18 years in trying to help the Cowboys win in the playoffs and making it to a plethora of Super Bowls? ahahahahahahahaha. ahahahahahahahahaha "The World keeps on turning, but it won't be for long" Stevie Wonder
