Diamond Lounge Hours Cut at Caesars Windsor

I was very dismayed/POed to discover today that Caesars Windsor has decided to close their Diamond Lounge from Monday to Thursday. (The days I typically get to visit) It will only be open from Fri to Sun and occasional show days.

So if any you visit CW be aware.
I have already written to complain.
Any reason why/ Can you still park for free at Ceaser Windsor? I haven't been there for a few years. Last time a lot of hassle at the border. Going to Soaring Eagle in a few weeks.

Good question about the parking. After all, they are Caesars/Harrahs.And the border crossing can be a pain in the rump.
I have not been to Windsor or soaring eagle in twenty years! Long time.

They sold all the Ohio properties. So no more Caesars for us most likely as we will lose our status eventually. I don't go there on the regular here in vegas.

I was surprised at the differences between Paris and flamingo. Both we very nice though. I meant to go into Caesars just because but didn't make it.

FYI, the status is my mom's. My dad used to go to Chicago for frequent meetings, but doesn't go as much. Plus....grandbabies, lol.

Going to Windsor casinos is pretty much a rite of passage for Ohio teens on their 19th with their friends. Both my brothers and sister did. Not sure how old I was when we found it or when it opened for that matter.
I don't qualify for the diamond lounge...or the jade lounge...or even the pyrite lounge.

You'll find me in the slate lounge. They serve complimentary Hamms beer, Pringles, and a constant marathon of Martin Lawrence movies.
I am assuming they are closing the lounge those days to save money. Yes parking is still free... So far
Unlike in LV , You have to be at least up to the second level of Diamond to use it at no charge , otherwise it is $10.00 per person . With no free booze , and a very limited menu , it does nothing for me . Bob
In Ohio, we found it interesting that the lounge served no free cocktails. Then we found it interesting that our buffet vouchers excluded Sunday of all days. Ends up, state law did not allow for free alcohol and Sunday brunch included champagne. I just thought they were cheap.

On a different note, almost all non vegas buffets st casinos are pretty tasty. Not sure why, but they must make this a point. Not referring to just Caesars either.
