I didn't see whatever it was that Higgs posted before he was banned, I'm sure it was really bad. Good on nemesis for apologizing in Higgs' place, this place works best when we police ourselves.
I do see that a street address that Higgs apparently posted remains in the thread. I suggest it be taken down, it could in fact be the address of someone else that Higgs harasses.

I hit Diamond during my last trip to Vegas in Feb. I think I started the trip with around 2200 tier points and ended up with 20,200. I came home up $2k. Paris has been really good to me for my past 4 trips.
For the person who lost $5k and didn't earn many tier points, I think a big factor is the amount you play each day. It seems like the points start racking up faster after about 4 hours, but it could just be my fuzzy alcohol logic kicking in at that point.
