For those too young to remember, . . . or those too old to remember: The Pelican Brief

The only Grisham book I couldn't get into. (Actually, I could've sworn it was a Ludlum work tho).
I agree with Lurker. I can't imagine anyone who is willing to ruin an innocent person's life would be willing to ruin an innocent person's life.

Whahaha funny how predictable some people are around here. I was reading Boiler's first reply in this thread and was surprised he didn't mention Hillary and how she could have pulled it off. Scroll down a little bit and BINGO, 3 posts later Boiler's back with another erotic Hillary fantasy. What an incredible dumbo. Dude you're obsessed, go see a doctor!!

Dude you're obsessed, go see a doctor!! But consider the fact they might want to lock you up for some time. They probabaly haven't seen crazy like this in a long time.

It was Professor Plum, in the Library, with a Candlestick.

Been drinking again? Never mind, rhetorical question....

A Supreme Court justice dies on a remote Texas ranch away from his family and they haven't ordered an autopsy yet. The owner of the ranch is a Democrat who is also a strange character. I can't fathom why anyone would have any questions about his death.

You want questions? Here ya go:

  • Why did Scalia accept free luxury room and board from someone who had a case before the Supremes last year?
  • Who paid for his very expensive charter flight?
  • What kind of tin-foil hat wearing doofus would ask about an autopsy, when Scalia's own family isn't concerned?

    Let's start with those.

I can. Severe psychosis is often an unfortunate side effect of inbreeding.

  • The better question and one that is actually pertinent. Why wouldn't his family want an autopsy performed? Millions of people in America wanted him dead, he dies in a remote area away from the family and they don't even have the slightest doubt. The slightest doubt is all it should take for them to want an autopsy considering who he was and where he died. Maybe he is not a beloved husband and father. Maybe his kids turned out to be far left liberals like Reagan's two youngest. Obese 79 year old men die from natural causes every day and the overwhelming likelihood is that is the case with Scalia. The final history of a Supreme Court justice shouldn't be left up to probability or the word of a rural Texas policeman though.

The family chose not to have an autopsy. Let it go.
A leading forensic pathologist agrees with me, as would any rational person.
