Did you ever find money, credits, or TITO in a casino?

No,but I lost one for $720.00 @ Harrah's New Orlaens, went to cash cage they sent a tech over he tore the VP machine apart, they checked and found it had been cashed by a female @ a machine and ran out the door, everyone says Harrah's is no good but they gave me $100.00 they didn't have to do anything.
I have found several machines or TITO for pennies. I figure people have willing left those and I have no qualms about playing them. I found a black chip on the floor one time and turned it into security. I did what I would want someone to do if it had been my lost chip.
Ive confessed to playing $350 left on a slot machine. I was playing the machine next to it for about a half hour when I glanced over to see the credits on the machine. Played for about another half hour and no one came by... thats a total of one hour. It took a while to play that $350 and I was prepared to reach into my wallet and give the person the cash if they had shown up.

this was before I knew that what I did was very, very naughty.

now, I know better and wouldn't.

when slapinfunk was a kid he and his sister used to run up and down the slots at MGM cashing out credits and grabbing quarters left in the change trays. good boy, good boy. and frankly, I didnt know that was illegal either though the security guards used to chase them.

more recently, there is this woman who stalks me at the craps table. whenever there appear to be a lot of chips in my rail, she will come over and make small talk with me, asking things like, "how much are those green chips?" or "how much are those black chips?" or "how much are those yellow chips?" then before I know it, a few of them are in her hand and she is running off.

the pit boss watches the whole thing and doesnt say a word.
the dealers at the table watch the whole thing and doesnt say a word.
the security guards even see this happen and don't say a word.

often this woman has an accomplice. usually her sister.

you have no idea how much my wife has gotten this way.

That's a good one MoneyLA.

As hubby and I were getting ready to enter the Ameristar casino in Saint Louis, a woman ahead of us dropped her 400 dollar plus TITO. Hubby quickly picked it and said " excuse me Ma'am- did you drop this?" gave it to her.

The woman just took the slip and walked in. No thank you- no words at all.

Should have kept it!!! But like you say- Karma!

Also same thing happend, some old dude dropped hundred dollar bills by accident. I got up from my machine and walked the 8 steps over to him- pointed at the ground and said " Sir- your money- you don't want to lose that." I got no response.

Maybe next time - I will keep my trap shut and let someone else try to "help" somebody.
Madcat, last couple of times I've pointed out to people they dropped money, I've received a big thankyou. You probably had the bad luck to run into a Californian or New Yorker (just kidding).
i once put $20 into a machine and realized i had $60 in credits. quick cash out and run.

i was also once playing at ballys and realized on the third or so pull (slot, not vp) that my credits were a lot higher than they should be. some drunken man came over at this point to tell me he left money in the machine. if i hadnt noticed it myself, i never would have been able to figure out what he was saying, he was SO drunk. it appeared to be about $17-ish and didnt know what to do since i had money in there to and i wasnt going to cash out and give him the whole tito, nor was i going to give him cash since i wasnt sure how much he had in there. he teetered tottered back and forth a bit and then walked away and i played all the credits.

ive also had slot attendants point out credits on the machine and they let me have them. one time someone got a bonus on a flip flop machine that didnt have sound and i guess they thought they were out of money. the attendant showed it to me and told me to play it so i did.
I found 2 green chips on the floor at a roulette table at TI and split it with the person next to me as she wasn't sure she had dropped them. She was happy to get one. We both put our green chip on black and it hit.

I found a $100 bill on the floor at Ballys right near the cashier. I picked it up and sat in a slot chair for about 15 mins. to see if someone came back looking like they were looking for it, nobody did. I was on my way to meet a couple friends for lunch, so it was on me.

At Borgata I was at a craps table wearing flip flops and felt something between that and my foot. At the same moment I noticed the craps table behind me was in panic. It was a $1000 chip that was under my foot they were looking for. When I realized thats what it was, I called the pit boss over and said, "I swear it just landed there".
I have a feeling they pulled the tape at that point and never saw me go for it.
Great karma for this one. I ended up $2,300 ahead after that session.

If I am playing a slot and have less that max credits left for the last hit, I will cash it out and give it to the person nearest me to add to their machine.
3 weeks ago I was sitting in the sportsbook at Mandalay Bay, the place was pretty empty. Something under the seat in front of me catches my eye, it was a piece of paper that looked like a folded up TITO. I pick it up and its for $320! I stay and watch the BB game until halftime and no one showed up looking or asking for it.

I was walking through the Rio about 4 years ago and since I'm always looking down at the floor when I walk by the tables I somehow spot a black chip. I walk back and picked it up.

Last week I go to sit down at an empty BJ table at Mandalay Bay, there was 2 $5 chips on the floor.

10 years ago I was at Mohegan Sun with some friends, we were playing BJ and there was a closed Mohegan Shootout game next to us. I got up to get a pamphlet from the table to see how to play it and as I walk to the other side of the closed game I spot 2 $100 bills and 2 $1 bills folded up and sitting right on the floor.

I was making a deposit at a Wells Fargo bank in a supermarket a few years ago and found a crumpled up 5 team parlay on the counter. I go home and check it and the first 4 games were winners and the 5th game was still going on. The 5th game was a winner too! It was worth around $155.

Found a $25 chip under my foot once in Caesars as I sat down at a BJ game.

I had a $270 VP ticket cashed out and stolen from me one time at Arizona Charlies Decatur. I was playing poker and the VP machine was like 7 feet away so I was playing it between hands. I get AA on the poker table and win a big pot and then turn around and the machine was cashed out. I had been staying there for about a month while me and my GF were waiting to move in to a new house. I call security over and they couldn't seem to grab the person who stole it so the next day I had a talk with the slot supervisor and wound up getting a hotel credit of over $500 added to my account.

I've found many other $1 and $5 chips at various casinos.
I found a wallet once on the ground near my car door at a crowded parking lot at a community college I attended. The wallet contained credit cards, driver's license, $175 in cash and a paystub from Home Depot with the guy's name matching on all the items. When I got home I called Home Depot, spoke with the manager and explained what I had found. The manager said that he would tell the guy about. That same night I got a call from the guy. He came to my apartment to retrieve his wallet that night and he was very appreciative. He intended to give me $50 as a reward but I refused to take anything. I told him that he works hard for his money and I didn't want his money. We shook hands. By the way on another note, I did graduate from that community college with an associates degree.
