Did you receive Southwest's free drink coupons like this?

I got a pleasant surprise in the mail today from Southwest. Has anyone else receive this? Sorry but my scanner can only do black & white. Note that I haven't signed up for their credit card nor have I received any free flights recently, when they usually send free drink coupons with a free flight award.

They expire in 13 days. Looks like they are trying to lure you to make an impromptu trip that you wouldn't have by offerings drinks. It's not enough incentive to me to plan a last-minute trip.

Actually, they don't expire for a year and 13 days......plenty of time to plan a Vegas trip and take advantage of free drinks while flying

You no longer get free tickets in the mail, so no more free coupons. I got one of the cards you got last year, they were good for a year. I average about 10 free flights a year thru their Visa card (along with a companion pass), but no free drinks.

We received drink tickets from SW this summer. I believe they're tied in to an anniversary date of some kind, like when you signed up for their rewards program.

Last week we heard the flight attendant tell a man that he could mail in his "old" SW drink coupons, which are no longer valid, to Southwest, and Southwest will send him new ones to replace them. First time I knew about this. I think I tossed some older ones. To be more clear, if you have drink coupons with no expiry date they will not be honored, but you can send them in to SW and receive new valid ones.

I wish I had known about mailing them in. I gave away over 40 of them just before the change!

But the mail-in exchange does not work if the coupon has an expiration date, right?
