he New York Jets made a change at quarterback on Friday, signing free-agent Michael Vick and releasing Mark Sanchez.

Vick and the Jets reached agreement on a one-year contract worth up to $5 million, according to reports. He leaves the Philadelphia Eagles after being replaced as the starter last season by Nick Foles.

I didn't see that one coming either, but it makes sense for the Jets.

The only problem with Vick is that he rarely stays healthy any more. I'm hoping he can also be a good mentor.

The guy abused animals, killed many, and now earns millions of dollars. I will not be watching him. There is no excuse for what he did.

there have been rumors of Vick going to the jets for a month. the shocker is releasing Sanchez. jets are overpaying.

I feel sorry for any qb in that market. One would have to be Montana in his prime to live up to their expectations

It's amazing how Sanchez led the Jets to 2 AFL title games and then went to shit!

They had a terrific defense. Once the defense started to slip, the Jets slipped.
