Wow I wish I had those kind of dilemmas... Life must be really ruff for you owning a house and bulding a house.... If you ask me you are being taken staying at Paris for over $300.. 40% off ripoff= 60% ripoff
Not to be a party pooper but my motto is to always take care of business first. If I were in that same dilemma I would ascertain that all of those responsibilities be finished first before even thinking about the guilty pleasures, that's just me. I would be stressed out worrying about "this or that" and I wouldn't be able to enjoy myself knowing that I have unfinished business to accomplish and important ones at that, again just my 2 cents.
And you're seriously asking us Vegas junkies if you should go :-) LOL
Enjoy your anniversary at Paris! Tip $20 at the front desk for a Red Room upgrade or better. It's not like you're letting your kids starve so you can fly off to the REAL Paris!
If you've played at CET props before, you should signin online then go to the reservation section to check rates. Even the smallest amount of play at Harrah's properties can result in excellent rates or comped rooms.
I live in Toledo and Allegiant does't fly to Vegas. The only way to Vegas from Toledo is American Airlines via Chicago. It's expensive but I like the luxury of not driving to Detroit and being 5 minutes from home.
The house is an ongoing investment...not meant to be completely finished when you move in...you'll want to adjust to it and get the feel of it before you buy everything...so I vote for go to Vegas, have a wonderful, guilt-free time, and when you get back you'll have the rest of your lives to finish those odds and ends you mentioned. Besides, we're on the downside of summer, buy topsoil in the spring. k
