Dim Sum

Rick, just google it man, geez. No wait,i'll try to be helpful instead with what i know about. It's basically a chinese brunchsih type of deal. Ladies stroll around with carts full of steamed yummies. You pick and choose which ones you would like(this is where i'm pretty clueless). You eat and order more til full. Thats pretty much hwhat i understand anyway.
We love asian food and have always wanted to have a good dim sum meal

Dim Sum = Chinese pot stickers

Orchids Garden restaurant on West Sahara serves "All-day dim sum." We went there in June and the prices are reasonable and the food is great. The total bill for 3 people came out to $19 for lunch, we ordered about 8-10 dishes. And yes, none of the waitresses speak English.

Us: What's that?

Waitress: Shrimp

Us: What's that green thing with the shrimp, is that spinach?

Waitress: Yes, shrimp

Us: Okay we'll take that (LOL)
In China the shrimp come with the heads, eyes, antenna and feet still attached. After you are done eating there are a bunch of shrimp heads on your plate staring at you.
Dim Sum is a "never ever again" for me, anywhere.

I can't help but feel that a brief reason would be VERY enlightening here.

Could you please provide a little more info ???

Rick
We had great dim sum at some joint in Melbourne. Great way of eating!
