A Disturbance in Baltimore

I'm still wondering exactly how Freddie was killed and who was directly responsible for it. Did it happen during his arrest? How? Was it a choke hold of some kind? Was he tackled and landed on his head? Did it happen in the Wagon? Was it accidental or a conscious act to hurt or be brutal? Were the Cops beating on him? How was each of the six officers charged involved with his 'murder'.

It's my understanding that it occurred in the back of the wagon where he was never secured but hog tied.

Boilers point is that the blacks and liberals get their shorts in a bunch over occasional alleged police misconduct and overlook the real problems such as homicide, addiction, single parent families and school dropout rates. Baltimore's own congressman - cummings says the biggest problem in America is climate change

Hoops gets his panties in a bunch when a black-panther stands outside a voting booth in Philadelphia.
But - Thats a problem that occurs on a massive scale.

Hoops cant even bring himself to acknowledge white police brutality when it occurs. He'll do anything and everything he can to change the subject.

Um, I saw all the accused and they weren't all white PJ.

'white police brutality" ??? Do you think all cops are white or something.

The one's who get caught on camera beating black men? yes, that seems to be the common denominator.

HUH!? there you go again, do you think there's no black cops that beat black perps? WOW. If you do you're really in denial.

Criminals who attack cops almost always go to prison. But thug policeman who murder, assault, or profile American citizens - in our name -are almost never found guilty.

Hence the justifiable outrage.

Are looting, throwing rocks, and burning buidings also "justified"?
Nope. But breaking backs is worse than breaking windows. And failing to hold thug cops accountable is a disservice to good cops, right?

Close to 100 Baltimore Policemen have been injured in the riots. Many hospitalized...
According to the same Baltimore PD that claimed that Freddie Gray was carrying a switchblade knife and claimed that rival gangs were joining up to attack cops? Color me skeptical.

Remember, Rosa Parks just refused to give up her seat not trash the bus.
And what would have happened to her in Baltimore, 2015?

Maybe they would have shackled her, put her in the back of a wagon, "forgotten" to strap her in, and then taken her for a careening, violent, bumpy ride for 40 minutes or so. It's called a "rough ride," and cops do it all over the nation. Philly cops have a special name for it, the Nickle Ride. Thousands, and probably tens of thousands of cops have perpetrated it, condoned it, or looked the other way.

So here's a simple question for you jatki: IF charges were proven on an individual basis, would you want to throw these thousands of cops into prison for committing what amounts to extra-judicial torture in our name? Or do you have something against enforcing our laws?

Nobody EVER claimed he was carrying a switchblade, only a pocket knife that was legal. Where do you see anyone claimed that?

So Baltimore PD is conspiring at the very top levels to lie about their injured police officers...because 'Freddie Gray'?

"Nearly half, or 43 officers, required emergency medical treatment at a hospital, with 13 still out on medical leave, "meaning they are unable to come in to work at all,” Police Capt. Eric Kowalczyk announced. "

https://abcnews.go.com/US/baltimore-police-officers-reeling-riot-related-injuries/story?id=30710326

Of course no one is reporting how many rioters have been injured, but to suggest Baltimore PD is lying about their injured reeks of a loony conspiracy theorist. The truth is out there, man. People get hurt in riots. Riots are not peaceful. It's more than breaking windows. This shouldn't be a surprise that cops got injured facing off the rioters. I'm sure rioters got injured too.

Absolutely! Any cops caught stepping over the line should be prosecuted/disciplined or whatever, that's why I mentioned body cams earlier. Any complaints against a cop could be easily reviewed.

I think maybe you and others are making a mountain out of a molehill(as to the countrywide extent you are implying), just how do you know what Philly cops call anything? What do the Dayton Ohio cops call it? or Ashland ky? or Bethesda md? or.....a 100,000 other police districts.

One problem is a thousand times more tragic than the other, yet 1000 times more energy is applied to the smallest problem. Prioritize people.

I believe they're both problems currently Boiler.

There are a lot of bad cops out there. Some even commit unjustifiable homicides like we saw in South Carolina. I'm glad to see the light being shone on legitimate police brutality. The liberal media does a great disservice by hyping cases like the one in Ferguson which shouldn't have even been a national story.

For liberals, the comfortable reality is that blacks have suffered economically due to many decades of discrimination. The uncomfortable reality for them is that the good parts of black culture in America have been drastically eroded over the last few decades. The even greater uncomfortable reality is the African brain is genetically inferior. Combine years of severe discrimination with the moral decay of a culture and brains that aren't as sharp and you end up with serious economic woes and a lot of crime. I hope I'm wrong, but I only foresee it getting worse.
