A Disturbance in Baltimore

PJ once again takes his eye off of the ball to chase a butterfly. I played college ball so feel free to let me know if you would like a few tips.

Hoops gets his panties in a bunch when a black-panther stands outside a voting booth in Philadelphia.
But - Thats a problem that occurs on a massive scale.

Hoops cant even bring himself to acknowledge white police brutality when it occurs. He'll do anything and everything he can to change the subject.

Three of the six Baltimore cops who were arrested are black.

'white police brutality" ??? Do you think all cops are white or something.

A police shooting being reported. Prepare for Baltimore to burn.

Criminals who attack cops almost always go to prison. But thug policeman who murder, assault, or profile American citizens - in our name -are almost never found guilty.

Hence the justifiable outrage.

Are looting, throwing rocks, and burning buidings also "justified"?
Nope. But breaking backs is worse than breaking windows. And failing to hold thug cops accountable is a disservice to good cops, right?

Close to 100 Baltimore Policemen have been injured in the riots. Many hospitalized...
According to the same Baltimore PD that claimed that Freddie Gray was carrying a switchblade knife and claimed that rival gangs were joining up to attack cops? Color me skeptical.

Nobody EVER claimed he was carrying a switchblade, only a pocket knife that was legal. Where do you see anyone claimed that?
Um, right here:

Re: The Knife

Item 1
__The Criminal Code of Maryland, §4-105, defines a “switchblade knife” as:
(1) a knife or penknife having a blade that opens automatically by hand pressure applied to a button, spring, or other device in the handle of the knife.

Item 2
__The description of the charge brought against Mr. Gray explicitly provides that he:
" . . . did unlawfully carry, possess and sell a knife commonly known as a switch blade knife, with an automatic spring or other device for opening and/or closing the blade within the limits of Baltimore City."

The City of Baltimore has adopted as an ordinance its City Code §59-22, which states:
"Switch-blade knives. (a) Possession or sale, etc., prohibited. It shall be unlawful for any person to sell, carry, or possess any knife with an automatic spring."

Item 3
If Mr. Gray was on probation for earlier charge(s), simple possession of a concealed knife, of any kind may have been illegal, . . . and probable cause for his arrest.

As he was not in Baltimore on 12 April 2015, DonDiego does not know the truth of the matter. But whether Mr. Gray was or was not carrying a concealed knife is pertinent to the arrest.

No I should have known the supply was in jeopardy when I spotted an obnoxious asshole in line ahead of me. He had about a dozen scripts in his hand all for Oxy and he had shoebox full of cash. On the way out he asked me if I knew where the closest Denny's was.

This was him:

I wouldn't say that 'cause we don't know but I doubt either of us has any problem.Pain sucks, deal with it.

To the issue at hand whether the DEA "allots" X amount of oxy is yes and no. It's pretty much what I surmised, each pharmacy is kinda allotted an amount but that's based on their known amount of regular scrips plus extra for any new scrips.Any abnormal amounts are highly suspect due to ,you guessed it, the huge demand for oxy. Any patients who come in and they have run out (unlikely they said because they have reserves) are directed to another store but they will do everything to help find some. They never had that situation come up tho.

I don't know MAL, maybe your store had a run of illegal scrips.

Yeah, that was a cop lying.

So Baltimore PD is conspiring at the very top levels to lie about their injured police officers...because 'Freddie Gray'?...
Yup. The Baltimore police put out a groundless press release claiming that rival gangs were ganging up to attack the police. And the Baltimore Police Chief claimed that social media was spreading word of a violent "purge" - but no one can site a single page or a single screen shot to back up that claim. And let's not forget the switchblade knife, and how Freddie Grey was supposedly trying to injure himself.

So yeah, to promote their own interests, American police departments sometimes promote hysterical lies. It's part of their culture.
