My buddy Rick (Pappa Dawg) Hallishef is a finalist representing BC in a competition to find the best Blues performer in North America. He has beaten out all of BC and just arrived in Memphis tonight to compete in the finals - and he is playing live 28 Jan on dittytv.com. Unfortunately his band missed their connection in Chicago - so he cancelled - but I pushed him into playing solo - well - it beats cancelling - he is going for best or bust!

Thanks - didn't get a recording of the TV show - he did great. I'll post it if I can get a hold of one. Here is a live recording of him recorded last year. I think the next round is tomorrow and his band should be there by then.
