Today and Thursday will be damn fine entertainment for us regular folks. Watching the GOP wallow in the mud ,filth, and lies they have created will be like Christmas in August for the working man and woman in the good ole USA.

Faux News has created a monster. Good thing I and the rest of America love horror movies.....for this has all the makings of a blockbuster !

Carly Fiorina is always very impressive when she speaks. She probably the smartest candidate running for President in 2016. The contrast between her and Hillary is stark. Rose to the top of HP on her own merits. The only reason anyone even knows Hillary's name is because of who she married. It's a testament to how far this country has fallen that so many people are willing to elect "a little woman like Tammy Wynette" that has stood by her man through dozens of infidelities. Carly Fiorina would have never stood for that kind of treatment and probably would have left after the first time. That said, my first preference would be for a Bobby Jindal/Condoleezza Rice ticket. Would be effective and have the added benefit of making so many liberal heads explode.
HP stock price when Fiorina became CEO: $60.
When she was fired: $12.

“Most business commentators consider Fiorina's tenure at HP to be a disaster. The stock price dropped by 50% only to rally 10% on the announcement of her firing. She fired 28,000 people before she herself was fired, departing with the 21 million dollar golden parachute that is financing her campaign.” - Adrianna Packard, 2010

Of course she was CEO during the .com bust...and the NASDAQ exchange itself went from over 5000 to 1300...but regardless...Abraham Lincoln had a business failure and so did Harry Truman...and how'd they work out?

And as to 'firing 28,000' to cut costs as part of the Compaq merger....That could be the biggest plus of all...She sees waste and inefficiency and she has the guts to make the hard decisions. There's a lot of opportunity to cut some fat from the Federal Government....a lot.

Of course they had other accomplishments, didn't they. But Fiorina's entire resume is HP, which did much worse than Dell, Cisco, IBM, and lots of other tech companies. And creating thousands of jobs...in India. And losing a senate race in a landslide. Oh, and taking over four years to pay employees from that race, even though she is a multimillionaire.

Oh...I see. She had no accomplishments at all at HP and was miraculously appointed CEO where she also had no accomplishments...Is that what you're claiming? That would be like claiming Hillary's only accomplishment as Secretary of State was pushing the Reset button with Russia.

Fiorina actually worked her way up in a Fortune 500 company from entry level to CEO. The first woman ever to do so...she had many successes and failures along the way...as does anyone who's ever run a major international public company. That's all based on merit...not marriage.

Now President Lincoln also lost a Senate campaign....but that wasn't in a state which hadn't elected a Republican Senator in over 20 years. I don't have a clue what you're talking about regarding not paying employees. What was her reason? What is the context? She just figured on screwing them or was there some issue?

No, I'm extremely impressed when anyone makes it to senior VP at a Fortune 500 company. But as CEO she bombed. Presidential material? Well for someone like you who voted to put Palin a heartbeat away, I suppose so.

Remind me what Hillary's accomplishments were to be elected Senator? Married to Bill? Or what President Obama's Credentials were when elected President? Less than a term as Senator? Community Organizer? Those Pale in comparison to the Career Path of Fiorina.

And what would even make you think you know how I voted? You have no clue whatsoever. And you are wrong (again!).

And again...why didn't she pay those people? What is the context of that claim? She just decided to withhold their paychecks to save money....or was there some dispute as to their employment status?

I don't think she was particularly qualified to be a Senator. But at least she hadn't utterly failed as a CEO.
