When I first heard that story, it was a souvenir home run baseball caught by a fan when hit into the stands by the legendary Babe Ruth.

The ball was not autographed.

I'm pretty certain this is the true version, because I read it on the internet, and it had those additional credible details.

There is a bar in western MN owned by a guy named Gene,

He calls it The G Spot Bar, he sells t-shirts stating that " We
found the G Spot " here in Dumont MN.

He has it spelled with a very big G and really small lettered ene's
along side it, so it actually says Gean's Spot.

I thought that was a very dumb name for a bar.
