Doctors milking the insurance

I have a nose bleed problem, and tomorrow will be my 4th visit to the ENT to see if I can get my nose cauterized to stop the bleeding. I was on a blood thinner, and tomorrow will be the 11th day I've stop taking my blood thinner medication. 3 visits @ $40.00 co-pay, plus 1 $150.00 co-pay for the ER, so far. After tomorrow, I've would have paid $310.00, in co-pays, within 12 days, and I don't know if the doctor's office or the ER will bill me even more.
Doctors are worst than the casino's taking away your money.

A plumber would charge you more for the same services and they would be working on leaky pipes in your house, not a leaky pipe in your head. Looks like a pretty good deal to me...
Have you ever been to a chiropractor? They love to keep you coming back.

There's always that money saving alternative.....................you could fix it yourself.

No?

Money well spent. Very well spent.

Good luck with the nose!
When I was young I had to go to the ER twice for unstoppable nose bleeds, and had my nose cauterized once. My dad said that my grandfather had this same issue but grew out of it...and thankfully I did too.

As others have said, I would say your money has been well spent. Hopefully the problem goes away after your treatment.
Yeah but you and/or your employer wouldn’t have been paying several hundred or more to month for plumber's insurance.

Only $310? I still have about $13K of medical bills that are more than a year and a half old. Plus I have doctors who just me a bill for "consulting" on my condition on 12 Nov 2010.
