Does anybody have a favorite German Restaurant in Las Vegas?

I had long wanted to visit The Hofbrauhaus House. We finally went there, and I was just so very disappointed. Since we weren't looking for sausage style meats, we were limited to one pork dish with veggies. The veggies were rock hard, the meat was tough. I would never visit there again. Also, they only serve German beer, which my husband did not want to try. The gift shop was interesting, and had some good options. but I would not go back there.
A trip down memory lane

I remember a pretty good German restaurant that was across from the convention center. It did a pretty good business and the food was good. It then became a sportsbook & then a nightclub. Can't recall what is there now
