Does anybody own a smoker? If so, have you done a turkey on it?

I brine any poultry that is going into the smoker. Makes all the difference in the world. Brining a turkey of any size is a pain, but well worth the trouble. By this time of year the cool weather has stopped any growth in the herb garden, but there is still enough to season the brine. I put whatever is left in the brine. Rosemary, sage, thyme etc. whatever you like, or have on hand.
