Does anyone get Downtown Grand offers?

This was from last year 2015, I've never gotten another one since. And I never got to use these free room offers because they pulled the rug from under me. In fact at that time in 2015, they reneged the free room offers and no one could use the free rooms however they were substituting "casino rate" instead.

i was having the same issue when they first started sending me offers. they would always tell me that they did not have anything available, ever. since then, I have used their offers 3 or 4 times and I have been pleased. I just received one in the mail last week, and it has been scaled down a bit. in August, I donated more money there than I ever have. go figure. my current offer is for 1 comp room night sun-thurs, BOGO entrée at freedom beat, and $10 free slot play. I am already booked for 4 nights at the Fremont in mid October. I will try and book this one night at the DG, I will just have some overlap I guess. also, I seem to recall, they have some coupons at check-in, $5 or $10 match bet or slot play -- something like that, and dining coupons. I wish they would update their website to make the offers easy to view and use.

I even tried updating the Downtown Grand app on my iPhone and signed in to see if I have any offers there on the app however it says no offers available. Lucky that you still get mailers. I'm hoping to be surprised one day when I get my mail and find a DG mailer in my mailbox.

Received similar offers last year that didn't use. Have two nights booked starting tomorrow that are comped.

We gambled about an hour or two at DTG a couple years ago. Fun place. We're low rollers. Mostly some quarter VP at the bar and some Batman and Robin slots that they just installed. We got an offer with instructions to call our host. We never had a host before. Anywhere. We called and were informed that our host passed away and we were transferred to the reservation desk where they gave us 2 free nights last year. The room was great. Had a great time there. Haven't heard a word from them since.

They used to give offers away like candy. Now you actually have to give them some fair amount of play. I haven't played there much in a few years. Its become a hit-n-run coupon place for me.

I got my 2 comp nights with,what I thought was minimal play!No resort fees,also.
The comps have tightened up quite a lot.
I really liked the 80's casino music on the floor! The room was fantastic eye candy for me.
Casino play is planned for October there. I'll see what happens.

yes, they do play good music. getting one free night instead of at least two, is a bit odd though. nonetheless, I will go and enjoy it.

vegasdev,you got robbed in that they offered only ONE comp night for the $$ action you gave them.
I got 2 comped nights for much less play,but that was 2 years ago.
Things have changed.

If vegasdev got robbed, I got mugged, and raped too (lol). I did get some wins (old pics 1 year ago). Maybe that's why the offers stopped for me.
