Does anyone hear "the hum" in their house?

Screw the humming. What about those dang robots that keep stealing my underwear?
err, computers, erased my whole message...

anyway, I have tinnitus of the ear, buzzing and ringing of the ear...side effect of tubes and other ear problems as a child...causes sensitivity to fridges, street lamps, etc....since many children had tubes back in the day, something to consider. Doesn't bother me unless I talk about it, thanks, lol. Tried, just because, ear relief, sold at the drug store, didn't really do anything, but my ears don't necessarily bother me...have trouble filtering in loud places or movies, but otherwise....

Also many years back, my parents had an addition put on their house and randomly some time later, hundreds of carpenter bees ate through the ceiling and came out the light globe. Freaky. Just saying.

It's most likly a 60 cycle hum from your power line to the house.
It will still be there with the power OFF.
Needs new insulators.
Sorry about your mom. But at least the transformer's now fixed !
