Vegas Free-for-All - Does anyone here drive a toyota Rav 4/sun shade for Front Window

Pretty excited to be getting a new car after many many years. Living here in the Desert a Sun Shade for the front auto window is just a part of Life.......any recommendations?
I drove a VW New Beetle since 2000 to the present time. I found a foil front , insulated and roll up sun shade that I have used for since then. Looking for one that is a good fit( 2017) Thanks in advance

Go see the Toyota dealer.
OR,take your chances on a "Universal fit" that doesn't fit anything.
The shiny/quilted ones are great,but so are the wind up ones.
You may be able to modify one to fit perfectly.
I MADE one for my hatchback.

I blocked off the left rear window,entirely. You don't need it.

April may be a possibility. Financial speed bump,lately.

Do you have access to a sewing machine?
Make your own sun shade.
Get the quilted one and MODIFY.
The handier ones kind of fold up into a small package, with a twist.
I made one for my hatchback.
It's a frikken' green house in there!

The "frame" is metal and I glued neodymium magnets to the back glass to keep it up.
I have a craps stick in the passenger seat to whack it off,when I need to!
I need to rely on my rear view mirrors!

Having lived here for 14 years, I do the opposite of winter. Cars must be parked in the garage during the summer. This also applies to parking in the garages when shopping and casino instead of outside. We have never used a window shield ever. We work from home so don't have to go to an office though.

Btw, my absolute new favorite thing in the world though is those double insulated water bottles though. I ponied up $30 bucks for one and so well worth it not to die in the summer from thirst. It does keep water cold up to 24 hours in my car. Where he this been all my life. I would nearly die of heat when running around during summer days.

Really? No window shade to keep your dashboard from cracking/fading in the summer sunshine?
The sun bleaches out my interior.Leather seats? Sun is bad for them.
Lucky that I'm skinny,or I would burn up to a crisp without A/C!
I YANKED the A/C out of my 32 year old Supra.Lighter weight: go faster. If I was a fat boy,A/C would go back in at ANY price.
I can tolerate the heat,not the ccold.

I play a Jedi mind trick and pretend I am a child playing on the floor register letting the heat warm me in the winter. I also despise humidity and sweating so the "dry heat", there is a difference no matter how funny people find that statement, is tolerable.

As for the car, I tarelybif ever park it in the direct sun and definitely not for hours on end. We really have never had, nor needed, one of those screens. Everyone else uses them though.
