Does your medical insurance have coverage in Las Vegas?

Does your medical insurance policy cover you in Las Vegas? I have Kaiser insurance which provides coverage only in California & Hawaii. I was wondering if I ever need medical treatment in Las Vegas if my insurance would be accept in Las Vegas. I know that I should inquire with my insurance company but just curious what others might do or experienced in the past with their own insurance coverage.
Your insurance will almost certainly cover emergency and urgent care outside of the plan area, albeit at a higher cost to you.

But keep in mind where Vegas locals go when they want the best medical care. The airport.
Panama is offering 30 days of free medical insurance to tourists.

Good question... I looked up mine with United Health Care and I am covered with all the Hospitals there. I will just stay away from the Terribles buffet and I should be ok.

I bet if you called your insurance company you would find the answer

Medical insurance is a scam. I suggest you cancel it and not worry about it. In the end it will not cover you no matter where you are.
Hope not,i'd be about 10 mil in the hole by now

But to be more serious, insurance should cover you no prob wherever you are . I just returned and my insurance covered my dialysis (i know,a little diff. than emergency) it did take a little bit of a search tho. I would suggest finding out what they DON'T cover ie some urgent care places etc. Any hosp visits should be covered no prob.

last year my wife, who was 5 mos. pregnant at the time, had to spend 3 nights in spring valley hospital for her heart.
Anthem Blue cross blue shield provided coverage ...
We were ONLY responsible for $4300 of a $12,000 bill.

PS: Baby Samantha is 11 months old now and getting into everything!!!
Had an emergency a couple of years ago and my primary covered it. My other insurance paid the rest.
