Dominos pizza

Anyone else eaten this crap lately? I haven;t been feeling good lately and finally wanted something of substance to eat, comfort food(pizza can be comfort food to me)so i broke down and called dominos as they're the only ones who deliver now. HOLY CRAPOLA!,it was worse than it had become 10 years ago, which is about the last time i ate one swearing them off forever. It was burnt, devoid of any noticable sauce or cheese which made it dry as hell. I managed to choke down a few pieces just because i was starving.

Its too bad,i used to order dominos all the time, i practically lived on it part time thru college. They started going downhill dramically about 15(maybe?)yrs or so ago. I don't think its isolated to here,i've tried a piece at others houses when they have got one and its always been really poor.

Dominos Pizza is no. 3 in my worst pizza in the world list. No. 2 is Little Caesar's and no. 1 is [ drum role please ] Papa John's.
I worked at Domino's back 25 years ago. (Holy crap, has it been that long?) The pizza wasn't bad just not what I was used to. We ordered a thin Brooklyn style from them last year and it was HORRIBLE. I'll give them another chance but just on the original Domino's style.
With all the fast food pizza you need to eat it hot!!! If you get it delivered try re-heating it in an oven. One problem I have with Domino's is they use seasoning salt. I don't need additional salt. The cheese and sauce is salty enough.

About 6 months ago, after seeing so many of their commercials stating how they changed everything for the better, I got Domino's for the first time in something like 15 or 20 years. I liked the old Domino's just fine and thought the new one was one of the worst pizza's I've had in recent memory, so I sent an email to their customer service and told them so. I was pretty amazed that I actually got a reply back in about 15 minutes! (So it appears while they may or may not deliver your pizza in 30 minutes, they will at least reply to a complaint within that time frame). They apologized and stated that the local franchise would contact me soon. The manager of the store called a few times and I was never able to talk to him, but he did say in a message that he put a $20 credit in my name at the store so I could try it again.

As far as I know that credit is still sitting there, and I doubt I'll ever use it. I don't get pizza often because the calorie count is pretty high and there is nothing good locally so I have to go to a nearby town and I'll be damned if I waste one of my limited pizza gorging sessions on the chance that the next Domino pizza will be better than the last.
I think Di Giorno (the frozen rising crust pizza) actually beats out many of the pizza chains. Of course individual restaurants are still the best. California Pizza Kitchen is good.
When in Vegas, we always try the cheese pizza at the Triple 7 Brewery at MSS. It has about 5 or 6 types of cheese, more than enough for two.
I have two of them within two miles of the house. Had pizza from both places and I thought it was pretty good (copmared to what they tasted like in the past). I guess it's like any place else. It depends on who is doing the cooking.

I think most frozen pizzas are better than D's.
The little Celeste pepperoni's are on sale for $1.00 each at Safeway often and I prefer them over D's.
I don't remember seeing Jenos. I'll look for them.

I really prefer the big NY style slices you would get on the boardwalk at most east coast beaches.
