DonDiego and the BIG-C

THAT IS GREAT NEWS MR. DON

NOW GO OUT AND CELEBRATE

Rick
Way to go Double D. The last time I went in for a physical the Dr. gave the disclaimer that prostrate cancer is the slowest moving and that many people die in old age with it. I told him I still wanted the rubber glove, even though it isn't pleasant. I'm also happy I did a colonoscopy.
congrats DD.

I hear a big win in Vegas usually follows beating cancer.

Well, . . . they pr'bly didn't hurt.

Oh, . . . Oh, . . . Oh !

Garden Report:

teechur and DonDiego enjoyed lettuce and radishes into June. A second planting of lettuce'll be ready in 2/3 weeks, maybe, . . . if'n it ain't been too hot.

Squash started coming in the second week of June. All nine plants survived, so DonDiego has been harvesting from 4-to-7 squash every day for 3 weeks. The neighbors, . . . and anyone else who wanders by, . . . and the post-woman, . . . and the church are all beneficiaries.

There's plenty of hot peppers on the plants; DonDiego hasn't harvested any, . . . prb'ly will this week.

And tomatoes ! Usually tomatoes don't come in until July. But DonDiego harvested several on June 18th. And several more today for Taco Tuesday. By the end of this week they'll be harvested regularly.

DonDiego says drop by if'n the reader would like any.

I am very glad to hear that you have beaten this cancer.

I am glad you have been able to enjoy the benefits of good health care and quality insurance, and this fruit of decades of hard, expensive research, much of it funded through tax dollars. In the US alone, federal support for cancer research last year was over $5 billion, perhaps a huge sum but still down 30% in real dollars since 2003.

Again, I am very glad to hear of your success. A lot of people invested a lot of time, money, and failure in achieving your result. Perhaps this experience will help you discover joy in finding ways for others to achieve similar successes with their health.

WTG DD! I was assuming Ronald was "ray gun" and not McDonald. For a sec I was picturing some clown with red hair giving you some treatment.
Happy to hear you are doing well.
