download ebooks

I just bought 2 ebooks from ova store and having problems downloading them on my nook. I can download from the library but I'm having problems with this. i have an IMAC. Can anyone help?
I believe what you're saying is that you were able to download them to your Mac but not your Nook. If that's the case I would stop in
to your local B&N. They are very helpful. That's the reason my sister purchased a Nook over a Kindle.
If the book is on your computer, you can connect the nook via USB like a flash drive. copy book to Mydocuments on nook. also check the format. nook cannot read .mobi or .azw.

thank you for your answers, but I posted on questions to lva and Anthony's answer to me was:

There may be some sort of App that lets you transfer a PDF (which is what you get with the version of e-books we sell) so you can see it on the Nook, but you can't convert it into the Nook e-platform. Our e-books are mostly for people who don't have a reader of some type. If you have one, you should buy from that store for full functionality and probably best price.

So, bottom line is, you can't transfer it to a nook.

And Big Dawg: I agree w/you, B & N has always been helpful. I've had my nook almost 2 years and I download all the time from the library. That was the reason I got the nook. At the time Kindle would not let you download from the library but I guess they had to change because too many people were going with the nook.

Dandiego - that's how I transfer books from the library is by connecting it to my computer via the USB port.

Thanks again for both your input.
