Downtown Grand to Charge a Resort Fee

Story here:

Downtown Grand to charge Resort Fee
Thanks for the link. According to the story, just 11 of Vegas' casino hotels don't charge a resort fee. Still wish the Nevada Legislature would do something about that, it hurts the industry for hotel rates to be complicated this way.

The Downtown Grand reservation system is now open. First night I could book a room was October 27.
The next big downtown show will feature drmilled's head exploding....
gourdhead- "The next big downtown show will feature drmilled's head exploding...." ------- I hope you enjoy paying your ripoff "resort" fees. I still have 11 casinos I can stay at, and when those 11 start charging the ripoff fee, I will no longer visit Vegas. Enjoy being gouged.....

I guess since I'm comped I really don't pay attention to resort fees. But they still bother me. I just think they should include them in the price and go from there. If you want to pay for a spa then enjoy yourself and pay for it. Since most of us have cell phones, we don't need "free calls" from the hotel! Just total BS if you ask me!

And I'm sure everybody in Vegas will miss your generous and bubbly personality....
