I stayed at The Downtown Grand this week from Sun-Thurs. Fremont St on St Paddys Day was disgusting, ugly, sloppy, ... I just found it not fun at all. I like to drink a bit and have a good time, but this was like amature hour for drinkers. I saw several fights, many people puking, and just acting like total idiot assholes. I did not drink at all that day, so I witnessed it all sober, and it was not a pretty site. Never again. Other than that, the trip was great. There were even 2 different U2 cover bands that played on Fremont St, plus a few other bands.
