Downtown Zipline.....

Hi - next trip isn't until late August. Had heard great stuff about the Downtown Zipline BUT also that their contract was going to end April 30/11. Any word yet whether their contract will be renewed/extended and whether the Zipline will be extended the entire length of Freemont Street???

DANG IT! I was hoping to get too it, I mean first the Cloud 9 not this possibily.

The website FAQ page freemont Street Flightline states:
Currently we are scheduled to be open until July 3, 2011. We Open daily at 12noon and close at midnight Sunday-Thursday and 2am on Friday-Saturday. We are finalizing our design plans for a permanent ride structure so check back frequently for details.

It sounds like its going to be a permanent fixture. I hope so too,we're going in sept and I wanted to try it.
