Should the evidence show that the Patriots had nothing to do with it, I will cheerfully admit to my folly and express my sincere regret at doubting this poor, persecuted band of saints. I have it on good word that Bill Nye (another notorious whiner, known for his unsicentific, biased approach) wil do the same.
In hockey if your found guilty of having too much curve on your stick and the other team catches you, its a two minute penalty(Go Bruins!). The Celtics were always accused (when they were winning all the time in the 1980's and 90's of having dead spots on the old parquet floor in the old Boston Garden (RIP) that only the Celtics knew where they were. I can remember when baseball teams with speedy guys on it would put sand down the third base line to kill the ball so the speedy guys could beat out bunt attempts. Hell its almost expected in NASCAR to try to get some sort of advantage! What the hell does everyone think is going to happen if the mighty Patriots are found guilty of tampering with the balls in the first half of a game that they could have skipped the first half and still won? throw a flag and give them a 15 yard penalty at the beginning of the super bowl?........its a non-issue. The NFL should put this to rest ASAP as to not tinge their signature event any more than it is................... move on.

just my humble opinion...............weggie

Finally an unbiased opinion.

Dad,

I would like to apologize for all of the heartache I caused you growing up, the missed curfews, the shenanigans, putting salt in your fresh-water aquarium, the time you came home early and found my BF and I doing the dirty thing on your Lazy Boy and on and on.

I realize now how much anguish I caused you as a kid and now understand the beatings and mental anguish you caused me were in my best interest. If and when I have children, I will raise them the same way you raised me.

I apologize and I love you dad no matter how crazy everyone else thinks you are.
Ellen, no need to apologize. By the way, you are not a monster.

Ahh. Thanks Dad. Love you, too.
So as reported that Patriots owner Mr Kraft is willing to match the offer by TMZ to the ball boy for his story on how much Tom Brady paid him to deflate the balls. Unfortunately the story will not break till after the superbowl. On Feb 2nd, all hell breaks loose. Other retired quarterbacks are coming forward with what they say they paid the ball boy for this action. This has been going on for some time in the NFL but the Patriots were the one to get caught. The going rate paid was between $7500-$10,000 per game. FYI I bet the Patriots big when the line came out at +3 points.
