Not a TR,just my opinions here.
2 days each comped at both properties.
M,T,W and Thursday-mid-week.
First impression of the Downtown Grand room: !WOW!
400 sq. feet and looks like new and very modern furnishings.
18th floor and what a view! R. 1802.

A tub/shower where the shower head was designed for an average sized human:6' up.
https://i514.photobucket.com/albums/t345/ddd228/temporary_50.jpg~original
Free WI-FI,ironing board, iron, hair dryer, big flat screen w/HD,separate partition for basin
and a lot of counter space, magnifing hand-held make up mirror, combination safe and plenty
of good lighting."10 of 10" ice bucket! My comped room was NOT charged the resort fee.($18).
Now,the less than satisfactory elements:
Bed was too soft.No fridge.
Room was too cold and there were no temperature controls, and the windows don't open.
Bring your PJ's.I used a bath towel to stay warm in bed.
Used the hair dryer to heat up the bathroom.YAY!
Don't turn off the switch in the hall by the bathroom,it controls the TV.
The music at night from the FSE was LOUD.The late-night bands speakers were aimed right down the street.
Hogs and Heifers was nothing.I didn't use the supplied ear plugs.
No room information in room,on paper.
TV guide or remote information/instructions,check out time.Usually noon.
The casino was cold,too!
I had to go outside a few times to get warm.
There was Mt. Dew in the gift shop for $3. YAY!
BJ was $15 for a 2 decker and $5 for a 6 decker,pays 3:2 for BJ.YAY!But just 2 tables workin'.
No craps,this time there.
VP was average pay tables.Caught a few quads.
Drank a lot of Coronas, but no drink holders at the BJ table. Weird.Maybe that's why I got cold, holding the bottle in my crotch.
I was the LAST "hot seat" winner to go into the whirlwind of cash plexiglass booth.$105 winner. YAY!
The machine went out the door the next day.Not because of me,certainly....
Coupon book was OK with a $10 and a $25 match play and a few food discounts.
I used the 15% off at The Commisary, across the street for sandwiches.
The parking facitility was not used.
A few quadsGreat photo,eh?).
