And finally our scientists are starting to consider repurposing robots to help with the Ebola Epidemic. Something I suggested almost 10 days ago. I'm so ahead of this thing.

For the 2nd time AlanLeroy falsely reports things I said. Strawmen are easy to knock down! Note how AlanLeroy quotes nothing I said. He simply paraphrases some phantom positions he pretends I had.

Let me show you how someone with integrity conducts himself. Here is some outrageous things AlanLeroy said on this subject. Note how I quote his own words instead of make things up about his position. I challenge AlanLeroy to do the same for the BS positions he made up on my behalf. I can promise in advance he wont.

AlanLeroy's common sense ban on travel to West Africa....

AlanLeroy's thoughtful, non-partisan pile-on to the Ebola czar appointment.

Stop. If you are never willing to give your own opinion except to say 'You say you support the 'Experts'', then we have to assume that you mean what you say. It's no straw man then to point out what the 'Experts' actually did and assume you must have supported that.

Did you support the 'Experts' when they had no controls at all and said travel to from Ebola Hotspots to the US was safe? A simple Yes or No would do.

Did you support them when they started the weak program of questioning travelers and taking their temperature and claimed travel from Ebola Hotspots to the US was then safe? Yes or No?

Were these your positions or not? It's kind of tough to tell when the 'experts' opinion's keep changing and you seem to worship their thoughts.

How is this in any way outrageous? "DON'T ALLOW UNFETTERED ACCESS TO THE USA TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE RECENTLY BEEN IN THE AREAS OF WESTERN AFRICA WHERE EBOLA IS RAMPANT".

That IS common sense and QUITE OBVIOUSLY the direction the CDC has now moved. My solution is more foolproof, but I am happy that they have recognized the folly of simple temperature readings and questionnaires. You'll also note that I suggested quarantines for Medical Personnel upon their return. I imagine PJ thought that was so Panicky and Knee Jerky at the time. That is at the time before his experts agreed with me.

Why yes it is non-partisan to point out how the Lawyer Ebola Czar has no experience or qualifications to lead this effort. I also showed that there are far more qualified people and gave several examples. Don't get me wrong, I hope Czar Ronald the First does a fine job....because this is serious business. I'm sure he'll try his best. I'm sure we'll get a handle on this. But is he the best man for THIS job? Is he even qualified? Is this the best President Obama could do? I don't think so.

And of course my example about how Stupid it was for Republican George W. Bush to nominate unqualified White House attorney Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court is the perfect non-partisan comparison of how politicians on both sides try to play their petty crony games in serious situations. Maybe she would have been a great Supreme Court Justice. I'm sure she would have tried hard. But she simply wasn't qualified.

I rest my case....but your examples actually supported my position. Thanks!

I predicted AlanLeroy could not quote any of the outrageous things he smeared my position with. And I was right.

Now AlanLeroy says the CDC's procedures are moving towards his common sense prescription. Thats news to me. Thats news to the CDC too. And I dont have to misquote AlanLeroy or the CDC director to prove it. Their words speak for themselves.

Well I just gave you three opportunities to confirm or deny whether or not you agreed with the experts you tout. Given that you refuse to do that I have to conclude that you actually have no position...so I don't see how we can continue to discuss your position. If things work out, you agreed with the experts. if they don't, then others are just smearing your position because..well PJ never said he actually agreed with anything specific. How convenient.

Yes, I said we shouldn't allow unfettered (You know what 'unfettered means, right?) access to the USA and medical professionals should be quarantined on their return...whether or not they show symptoms.

The CDC started by not suggesting any additional precautions for 6 months. Then they instituted questionnaires and temperature screening in Africa. Then they instituted temperature screening in the USA. Now they've gone to twice daily reporting, quarantines for medical personnel and US travel bans for public transportation of people at higher risk. That's some pretty major new fettering don't you think? If one more case flies in they'll have to give the travel ban more consideration....

But Hell yes they're moving toward my suggestions. They've already implemented a quarantine...and in lieu of the commercial transit ban, they went with a full blown 21 day required reporting system for every traveler and US public transportation bans for high risk people.

Why isn't PJ jumping up and down and claiming they are now over-reacting? Because if anyone would have suggested that unfettered access to the USA for those who had just been an Ebola Epidemic area was nuts, PJ would have rolled out his experts. At the time they were just sayin' "Don't worry, We'll just take their temperature and have them fill out a form". Go Figure.

It appears Ebola persists in growing exponentially, . . . doubling about every 5 weeks or so:

What has changed to lead PJ to believe that.................in his words........."OK - so now that it seems clear the Ebola Czar criticism was ridiculous and tantamount"?

Not exactly a genius, but he does understand how to manipulate those on the Left.

No, I cited an article saying what administrative actions were taken by the unqualified Ebola Czar in his first day on the office.

I cant speak to who created the plan (and I didn't - Boilerman made that up, go figure). I just know who is implementing the plan - The same guy Boilerman and other people here said could not implement the plan because he didn't go to medical school.

I won't even read this. Really.............comics?
