El Cortez Tower Rooms

Any feedback / info would be appreciated

Basic, clean, comfortable, quiet and cheap. The Tower houses the only rooms at EL Co with room safes - although their boutique hotel across the street has them too. The Pavilion rooms are almost identical to the tower rooms minus the room safe and convenient tower location - and they are usually significantly cheaper.

I've probably stayed in a half dozen of each, and the Tower rooms seem quite a bit larger than the pavillion rooms, maybe 30% bigger if memory serves. The Tower rooms are also brighter; you'll keep the drapes closed on a Pavillion room because the window opens onto a dark outdoor walkway.



I don't mind staying in the Pavillion, but I find them a big step down from the Tower.

Have stayed in them on a few trips,only downfall was no HDTV
