Electoral College Drama

As of 2:40 PM DonDiego Time the Electoral College voting has been proceeding pretty much in accordance with the agreed upon rules of Winner-Take-All State presidential votes.

__At 12:50 PM EST The Boston Globe reported that a Clinton-Elector from Maine intends to vote for Sen. Bernie Sanders. No vote from Maine had been recorded.

__At 1:45 PM EST a Minnesota Clinton-Elector refused to vote for Hillary Clinton; the Elector was dismissed under state law; an alternative will vote instead.

Curiouser and curiouser, . . .
There's more drama to be found in your local cemetery
"We have free and fair elections and the peaceful transfer of power -- that is one thing that makes America great," ???? said.

Who made this profound statement during the election?

Along with this gem.

"That is horrifying. That is not the way our democracy works. Been around for 240 years. We’ve had free and fair elections.”

Pretty funny, the only defectors are the hill's.
__3:02 PM EST The Maine Elector-Defector initial vote for Sanders was ruled out of order. He switched his vote to Clinton on a second ballot.

__3:15 PM EST In Colorado, one Hillary-Elector attempted to cast a ballot for Ohio Gov. John Kasich, but his vote was invalidated by Colorado Secretary of State Wayne Williams.

__3:57 PM EST In Washington State, 4 of the 12 Hillary-Electors broke with the voters. Instead of choosing the state’s popular vote winner, Hillary Clinton, three chose former Army general Colin Powell, one opted for environmental activist Faith Spotted Eagle.
Martin Sheen has assured me they are making a big mistake.
__6:00 PM EST Texas reports 36 votes for President-elect Donald Trump with one vote each going to Ron Paul and Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

FINAL TALLY:

304 Trump
228 Clinton
3 Powell
1 Kasich
1 Paul
1 FAITH SPOTTED EAGLE

Poor old DonDiego is disappointed that Faith Spotted Eagle got more electoral votes than DonDiego.
Five Electors changed their votes. I think that has to be a modern record.
