Ellis Island Free Play Coupon

Went last week to use coupon and was told they would put it on the card and to come back the next day to use the free play. A sign dated May 2011 said this was a change for the LVA and the ACG.

Isn't that what is stated on both coupons? I seem to recall it was never same day free play, although its been years since I bothered collecting it.
