Empire Casino faux VP

I'd read about this before didn't want to believe it. Empire has faux VP. Not even sure what to call it. The JOB pay table was 9/6 but a SF only paid 50 and 4oak paid 25. But it's not VP, it's a slot machine. There is no RNG to simulate an honest deck of cards.

At the initial deal the machine determines your outcome. For example, if you're deal a pair of Kings it matters not if you hold them or release them. If you hold them you might improve. If you release them you'll be dealt another pair or jacks or better or better.

I tried this 8 times with high pairs, once with 2-pair and once with 3 of a kind. I released the winning cards and received 5 new cards. Every time I either got back equivalent to what I discarded or improved.

Most likely, you're "playing" a Class II machine. They are lottery machines, with the pre-loaded xx% of winners. They are found in areas where lottery is legal, but slot machines and casino games are not.

The machines I'm personally familiar with are the Class II with small Bingo Cards in the upper corner of the game screen. Your bingo results determines your payoff, and if a winner, will highlight a line in yellow. You can also change you bingo card by tapping it. There must be two players for a result.

It will not matter what draws you make. IF you are dealt a RF, and toss it, you will get another RF, or a "magical genie" will appear with a bonus pay.

Hold all the cards, regardless of whether they pay, and if a "winner", the genie will appear also.

I've won some small wagers from other players on those machines after receiving a full house, straight, or flush on the deal. I'd chat and ask if I should throw them all away and go for a RF. The answer was always "NO", and I'd insist I feel lucky and will bet them a dollar I win at least $XX on the draw.

Always did. LOL

You're right. Empire is run by NY Lottery. We saw a genie, too. Didn't notice any bingo cards.
