Also just FYI: My understanding is that Circus Circus is not charging for self park -- it is free to everyone at all times (unlike all the other MGM properties on LV Blvd).

It's been ages years since my last visit to the Steakhouse. I suspect some of its resurgence is also in line with Circus Circus itself. It's no longer the slum it used to be. I've made a point of playing a little there each trip - although that will not happen on my next trip due to MGM's new paid parking policy

Good to hear about the parking.
CC is not a 4 star resort by anyone's definition but they've cleaned it up quite a bit compared to 8 years ago.
- Rooms have been renovated
- unused displays and equipment have been thrown out with the space cleaned up
- previously closed midway games have been reopened
- new bars in the casino are actually kinda nice (Vince Neils)
- pit has a steady flow of fun, rednecky players
- they even made their buffet edible.
And the best part is - I think families have finally realized Vegas is not a good place for the kids....You'll still come across some little shits running around Circus Circus - buts its nothing compared to a decade ago.
