An end to resort fees?

But also the suits should not spend 100 million on unneeded add ons that will never make a profit and then say the costumer demanded it or wanted it and not go out of business or have to sell off to pay for their own losses. The money spent on the high roller wheel always was going to be a huge loss. As people we can't spend a million on a new kitchen for our 300k house and then say why can't I get my money back. And yes, then bill gates isn't going to be my dinner guest either. But such is life. We live within our means and pay our own bills and don't get to make bad decisions and then blame others for our failures.

It would be an easy law to circumvent. You can just make the resort fee optional instead of mandatory. But people who don't pay it don't get towels or pillows in their room, for example. I support efforts for more transparency - but the best solution is to be an educated consumer.

Hmm, I think the number of people staying there would drop dramitically. I highly doubt if any hotel, strip or not, didn't provide towels and such, word would spread like wildfire if they tried some crazy crap like that, but I do agree, they might try and circumvent somehow and I think most would not accept the fee.
Ahhhhh.... choices have consequences ? What a "unique" concept. DUH !!!
