Eric Garner

You can always count on Hoops to make a solid statement of fact that ends with a question mark.
The victims official cause of death was homicide due to asphyxiation...he wasn't faking it as Hoops M.E. is suggesting.

Don't worry, Hoops. Tune in tonight to the same channel that gave us the doctored Shirley Shirod video. I'm sure those same pundits will give you a fresh set of talking points...maybe even some that don't end with a "?"

And I am sure the most anti-police admin (with the weakest police commish) in the country didn't apply any pressure to come up with that finding.

There were 24 people on that grand jury and the DA couldn't get 12 votes for an indictment; seems like there was more to this story

As one who's a big fan of breathing and I'm not saying that facetiously. I spent six months on a ventilator(anybody familialr knows how hard it is to be weened of off) and two weeks ago went into the ER and found out I had pneumonia and was SAT @75 struggling to breath, IT SUCKS WHEN YOU CAN"T BREATH! This guy died a horrible death and there really wasn't any reason for it. And all over peddling cigarettes!? get the F outta here! Unbelievable.

Somebody dropped the ball on this one , big time.

I largely agree with you on both incidents. There is undoubtedly problems in Ferguson that make the community feel discriminated against by the PD and city officials...but that doesn't mean its ok to start a war over a fabricated facts.

The Garner incident seems much more clear cut. Its on video for Chrissake. The prosecutor should be run out of town and replaced. There is no double jeopardy for Grand Jury's. It would be wise for the city to take a second look at this case - if nothing else for a lesser charge of manslaughter.

but that doesn't mean its ok to start a war over a fabricated facts. - THAT WHAT YOU GUYS WANTED TO USE IN THE BROWN CASE & HANG THAT OFFICER

The Garner incident seems much more clear cut. Its on video for Chrissake. - THE GRAND JURY PROCEEDINGS HAVE NOT BEEN RELEASED SO PERHAPS YOU SHOULD WITHHOLD JUDGEMENT

Who are "you guys" ? Certainly not me. I've never once presumed guilt of the officer or any malice towards him in that case. There's lots of threads you can quote me from on this board. Good luck!

That's a pretty bold statement considering You've already concluded the Medical Examiner was strongarmed into giving the results of his autopsy....without a shred of evidence beyond your imagination.
I don't need a grand jury to judge the incident - I saw the video of it with the rest of America. And I heard the man crying for air....and I've heard from top officials of NYPD the method use to subdue the man was illegal. So, yeah, I'd love to see the results of the Grand Jury and what excuse the prosecutor gave to the jurors to night indict an obviously indictable man...and then perhaps he should be indicted.
Oh and just for clarification, chilly was right, I got the name wrong as eric garner is,of course, the one who died not the the cop but I bleeive everyone here was/is smart enough to figure out I was making a simple mistake.

Stupid is as stupid does. Bleeive that.
Diblasio has already used his influence to get a friend released from holding. His best friend is sharp ton who is his by his side in all police issues, so it is not a stretch to theorize that pressure was placed on the medical examiner
