ETF's

Someone had asked about buying gold,silver,etc. I had posted some ETF's that do just that,but then the thread got deleted. Thought i'd try and answer that here.These are some samples of whats available and can be bought and sold just like any stock.
gold-gld, short gold-gll
silver-slv,to short silver-zsl

It's a coincidence that just today I bought 60 shares of GLD @ $169 (you do the math). I hope I'm not Johnny come lately or late to the party, so to speak. It seems that the spot price of physical gold is pulling back somewhat.

Hopefully not a bad move for you surf,as i dont think we done with 250+ down days on the dow. People flock to gold on those down days. I bought some TZA and FAZ and watch close. Good luck to ya surf!
