Ever get locked out of your hotel room

My friend Robin got locked in the bathroom at the Plaza. Does that count?

Only if you were locked in too.
Several years ago at the Golden Nugget I stepped in the shower as my husband decided to put the room service tray outside in just his jockey briefs. Anyone who has stayed there knows how heavy and self closing the room doors are.

Well, I didn't hear him knocking over the shower but he did see a house phone so he called and they said they would send someone up. In the meantime he took the cloth napkins from the tray and tucked them around the front and back of his waistband for "cover"

I stepped out of the shower just as security let him in - oh I never wished for my camera so bad in my life.

Thanks for the memory

My experience with being locked out of the room did not end like yours, but I wish I could haveperformed a similiar prank on my husband. Another couple and us had stayed at Ceasar Windsor. We had adjoining rooms. My husband and friend's wife are not big gamblers so they each went to their own rooms about midnight. Friend and I continued to gamble for a couple of hours; finally, we decide to turn in. I could not get into my room. So we went downstairs to try for a different key; it did not work. Then we pounded on the adjoining room door. All it did was wake up wife --who was not the happiest. We went downstairs again for another key. They suggested we try calling husband on the hall phone and if it did not wake him up, they would send someone to take the door off the hinges. Luckily, the phone call did wake hubby and he unbolted the door. First time for everything; in our 50 some trips to Vegas, this never happened.
