Every been to this spot?

If you have been up here, how did you get here?

For those that don't know where this is, it is above the casino level of MSS. I always wondered what was in this space until I ran across this photo.

Seems to me this would be an excellent spot for a poker room.
Great photo, Jerry. Let's talk Anthony into renting it for us this summer, LOL.
There is an elevator on the wall that runs along Main St that looks to be positioned just about right to get up here. There is always a guard at the bottom of the elevator. I always assumed it went up to offices, but this is beautiful!
Years ago we were allowed to go up in that elevator. The room as pictured was fenced off with brass railings, but the perimeter of the space, outside the fence, was offices. I don't know if they still use them as offices or not. The general manager's office is in the California.

Now they won't let guests go up in the elevator.

I remember when MSS was called Rosie O'grady's...and they tried to make a go of a game called "two-up" or similar. I watched for about 5 minutes and as I recall, they would get a player to hold a big paddle and place two coins on it, then using the paddle toss the coins into the air. I think you could wager on combinations like heads/heads, tails/tails etc. I think the second flip I watched, this chick flung the coins so high one of them ended up on this second floor.

Kinda like the craps table, they called it "no toss" LOL

That's a kick ass room. Who actually hung out there? Upper management, high rollers, the mob?
Very cool....Elvis, The Rat Pack!
Thanks for the feedback, further info and remembrances.

It would be nice to be able to take a tour of this area. I will have to inquire during my next visit.

It seems like a shame that such a cool looking area would not be utilized or at least open to the public in some fashion.

It looks like somebody does get to play pool there, with the cue sticks scattered about. Makes one wonder if the late Sam Boyd used to have a regular game up there with his cronies.
MSS? I thought it was the recreation portion of a standard room at Casino Royale!

Good Luck!
