Excalibur reviews

Never stayed there, but I'd stay away from the buffet. Maybe it's better now, then again...
I like popping into the ExCal every trip but I dont think I would get a room there. The hotel is aged and a little shabby. Look and see what kind of room you booked...I think they have some remodeled rooms that go for a little higher price. The standard rooms are Motel 6 all the way.

We stayed there twice 4 to 5 years ago and it was looking very dirty and shabby then. It is cheap but now as good as I would say a *** hotel should be.
Vomit on the floors just means people are enjoying themselves! Seriously I think Excalibur is one of the all time great Vegas deals. Sure, the buffet sucks, so eat somewhere else. (Actually the coffee shop is surprisingly good- great turkey club) And anyone who compares the roms to Motel 6 certainly hasn't stayed at the dumpy one on Tropicana......

You can eat the food at the Buffet, just don't swallow it !
I stayed there a few times two years ago. Room was decent for the price. Buffet was OK, nothing special.
If you get a good rate, you should be fine. Good location.

The intriguing looking place is Dick's Last Resort. There are dance girls on stages near Dick's place.

I'm just wondering if anybody has eaten there?

We had a drink at Dick's a few years ago. People seemed to be having fun. The bartender seemed too tired to insult us.
Thanks. Been having good and bad thoughts about my choice. Just hope all is OK. Stayed many places and some of them are gone now. Usually stay more in the middle of the strip but where we usually stay there were no rooms available so figured would give this hotel a try.

Overpriced, food was just OK. The Gimmick (the rudeness) is fun though. Imagine working in a customer service related job and have to deal with "idiot customers" and what you'd like to have said to them... they get to, and do, even if you are not being an idiot.
