Farewell Colonel John Glenn

Ref: The Columbus Dispatch
Two of my heroes died on December 8th. Strange.
I just listed some Project Mercury stuff on eBay last week.
It was fun looking through them.
Rest in Peace.
God speed, John Glenn......
Great American hero and what a truly full life.

We moved to Dayton Ohio when I was really young and I remember learning about him early on, he was a hero in Ohio. I think I remember seeing him somewhere, maybe the air and space museum at Wright Pat. I probably visited there at least a dozen times with field trips and such.

He was a remarkable man and definitely lived a full life, 95 yrs worth.
It is amazing that no matter what the topic, Billy turns it into a post about himself.

As opposed to Jatki, for example?

I have very few heroes. John Lennon and John Glenn were two of them. That they both died on December 8th is eerie.
But take your pot shots if it makes you feel big.
I had an aunt with me at a black tie dinner, where John Glenn was in attendance. She was reluctant to go with me to go meet him, but finally did. He couldn't have been more friendly.

HUH!? What the hell are you talking about? I mentioned he was a local hero growing up in Ohio and think I saw him once once o na field trip to Wright-Pat air and space museum , you're pimping some shit out on ebay after the guys death. YEA, nice comparison.
Reading comprehension is so important. I said I posted the stuff last week. Before it was even announced he was in the hospital.
One of the greatest Americans ever passes away and you two use it as an opportunity to attack someone.
How utterly pathetic.
