Nobody said other tax-exempt groups weren't looked at. That would be standard operating procedure. The number of groups who Obama saw as the enemy far exceeded any and all other potential "political" groups placed under special scrutiny by the IRS. That's what tyrants do. If there was equal treatment, there would have been no need for an IRS commissioner to unveil "his plan to fix an agency besieged by scandal"

The IRS isn't required to exhibit "equal treatment." The police pick and choose when and where to patrol. Judges are allowed discretion in sentencing. The NSA decides how to use its resources to spy on presumed enemies. The Commander in Chief, and on down the line, get to decide which targets to attack.

So on and so forth, etc. etc. It's been that way for THOUSANDS of years (except in the minds of, um, er, namby pambies?). Did the people at Hiroshima get "equal treatment?"

All I can say is WOW. You cannot selectively prosecute one group and ignore the same crimes by another group

The same people on another thread who want to hang Christie for possible involovement on the GW Bridge want to ignore when the IRS investigations are politicaly motivated

No, we actually embrace the investigations findings which not only showed that liberal geroups were screened but ultimately it was only liberal groups that were denied the 501c status. And all of this occurred without any top-down communication from the White House.

I understand that doesn't play nicely with your conspiracy theory - but facts matter. They matter in the Christie Bridge scandal too. Notice how I'm not accussing him of anything that is not a matter of record at this point. I could play your game and make up things that he knew about or ordered his underlings to carry out....but I have to much pride in my integrity to state fabricated information as fact. You should try too.
